All admissions other than Nursery must be made via the local authority. Please follow the links below.

The online system for applications for Primary School places in the Reception Class for September 2020 open on 1st September 2019 and close on 15th January 2020 at 5.00pm.
Even if your child has a school Nursery place, parents need to apply for a Reception place.
A place in the Nursery class does not guarantee a Reception place.

Applying For A Place In Nursery
At Blackshaw Lane Primary & Nursery School, children aged between 3 and 5 years old are educated in the Foundation Stage Unit.
Children who are 3 years old and who will have their 4th birthday during the school year are eligible to be admitted to the Foundation Stage Nursery the term following their 3rd birthday when they entitled to 15 hours free childcare.
Here are Blackshaw Lane, we offer 26 morning places (8.50 - 11.50am) and 26 afternoon places (11.50am - 2.50pm) on a daily basis; a total of 15 hours free entitlement per week.
Attendance at a school nursery is NOT an admission to the school and is NOT a guarantee of a place in Reception. All parents MUST make a separate application for admission to the Reception Class.
Additional Nursery Education
We are also able to offer additional nursery education in the morning and afternoon, offering you quality and flexibility.
If you wish to put your child's name on our admissions list for Nursery, please complete the form attached and return it to the school office (forms also available from the school office).

To commence April (summer term) your child must be aged three years old on or before 31 March.
To commence September (autumn term) your child must be aged three years old on or before 31 August.
To commence January (spring term) your child must be aged three years old on or before 31 December.
